Handle floppy disks with care - do not expose them to heat, dust, humidity or magnetic fields. Always make a backup copy of your important files, and never use the original program disks - use backup copies only. If anything goes wrong with a disk, you can always make a new copy from the original.
NEVER point the camera directly into the sun or a very bright artificial light! This may burn out the CCD chip in the camera.
If you use a tape recorder or amplifier to record sound into ANIMAC, be very careful not to input too high a voltage! Use only a "line level" signal from your tape recorder or amplifier.
NEVER attach a speaker output to the Mac's microphone input! The supplied sound attenuator cable is intended ONLY to adapt a "line level" signal (less than 1 volt) to the Mac's microphone input. Failure to heed this warning may cause permanent damage to your Macintosh.
If you are not familiar with audio equipment, or unsure about your sound level, consult your audio equipment's user manual, or an audio dealer or a service technician for help.
Always remember to switch off the power from all equipment before you plug or unplug any cables! Failure to do this may damage your equipment.
